Top 5: NerdEXP Blog Posts 5. Top 10 Trophy Sins I am a trophy addict. In my search for platinums, I have encountered frustrating minigames, glitched collectables and server instability. Not all trophies are created equal. I am not referring to the bronze/silver/gold distinction, but the fact that some enhance the experience for hunters and others detract from the game. Playing through a campaign once can be exhilarating; playing through four times can be a chore. 4. Time Crisis When I was a kid, I was torn by determining the best way to spend my allowance. As an adult, I need to figure out the most effective way to spend my time. There are movies that I only know through trailers, games I will only read about and comics that can only be experienced through select screen grabs. If I had more free time, I would consume it all but for now I must calculate the best way to accomplish my entertainment goals. Hopefully, I choose wisely and don’t end up with my face melted off. 3. Best Friends and BEYOND! This blog exists because of my loving wife, Aliera, and best friend (his words), Greg Miller. My entire life I wanted to cover video games professionally. Let people enjoy the show to the fullest possibility and try not to destroy their enjoyment. Unless it’s Citizen Kane, I can save you a lot of time, Rosebud is Luke’s Father, who is a ghost that is actually from modern times. You’re welcome. 1. Relating to Personality I am a white male (surprise!). There was no choice in the matter; it’s just the way I was built. Most of the protagonists in games, movies and comics share this demographic but they don’t represent me. These fictional personas are larger than life archetypes. They aren’t fully realized human beings; they are vessels to drive the story just like the plot, theme and setting.
